I have both the HD Hero 1 and Hero 2 and if you're in the market, go with the 2. The 2 is more powerful and crisp with its updated lens and can take 11mp still photos. And the best part is, unlike the 1,the 2 can be hooked up to the plane's intercom to record the comms.
