daily vid

Did this one this past summer, it was a hot day as you can see from the takeoff roll. Nothing exciting just a chill-axin flight around the CdA-Spokane area.

Hahah. Recorded with iPhone headphone microphone into "audiomemos" app.

The overwing door is only on the 60. It's for loading bags into the back so you don't have to bring them through the cabin. There is also outside storage.

Edit: looks like the 45 has it too.

The 55 has one to. I saw this video on Nori's FB page as well. Nice work Sam.

On the 40/45 that opening is an Emergency Exit only. Located at the furthest aft seat on the right side. It could be a hazardous door to egress because it is actually located just forward of the wing. If someone were to climb out that door and not step towards the rear of the plane it's a big first step.

I guess this would be as good place as any to ask...

Anybody have the Go Pro Hero2? I'm thinking of getting one but I'd be curious to here what people think of it before I plunk down the money.

I hear its a lot better than the go pro and a few producers I have talked to sing the praises of its capability. I am thinking about getting one next year too.

i got one about a week ago. i took some videos from the car with the hero hd and the hd2 right next to each other. i was going to try and edit them with the videos on top of each other, but it doesn't look like i can with the garbage pre-installed editing software. i have some video in bright light, dusk, and at night. i'll edit something with it in the next few days and post it.

long story short, the hd2 is a lot better. unless you want to buy a used hd1, of course, in which case the extra money isn't worth it at all.

Great video, love the opening... Always a beautiful day on top!

Out of curiosity... I assume you're using the GoPro. How are you mounting it?

The adhesive mount. Advantage of always flying the same plane. It removes easily without leaving residue as well.
