I'm heading to SA with my girlfriend in the next couple weeks. I know that South Africa is gonna be a long shot but does anyone have any leads on anything in the area? She has a really good job lined up which is why I'm going but I'm hoping to find something that can keep me in the air. If you know of anything, would appreciate it.

I was looking at AvCanada under the bush flying section the other day. There is a good thread on flying in Africa with links to other forums and various info. I think the guy that started the thread worked for a company called Sanfone or something similar to that. It looked like they flew 207s and 208s. I can't really remember the name. Hope this helps.
Oh yeah. I don't know anything about flying in Africa, just pointing out what I read. I have no idea if Sanfone (whatever it's called) is a good company.

I have a good friend who flew Caravan's and King Air's in Africa for a company called Air Serv. Check them out.

I thought you were moving back to the States?

Have been back for about 6 months. Figured it was time to head out again. Depending on if I can find work or not, I won't be out more than a couple months.

Whats up man? Good to hear you survived South Asia... if you ever visit pprune.org theres a wealth of international stuff on there. I don't know specifically about South Africa but if your willing to meander north to Namibia theres an area called the Maun where a lot of the Safaris go and nature videos are shot. The work is seasonal but coming up in the Spring there should be a wealth of flying in everything from Senecas, PC-12s, Vans, 210s, 206s, and 182s if that strikes your fancy at all!

Good Luck
