Solar Eclipse...

Just had a neat Solar Eclipse here in the southwestern states... I envy everyone who was flying into LAX (or really anywhere in the southwest) between about 6:20-6:50 where you could look at it through the tinted sunscreens + sunglasses in the cockpit. Must have been an awesome sight.

I shot this with my camera, through a dirty welding mask, right around the point where the sun was being blocked the most.

It was fun to watch during the whole process.

Solar eclipses are neat! I remember the last one (1994), I was in college and saw the whole thing on the campus in front of the student center.

This one was not visible in Indiana, but I'm glad you got to see it!

I saw it. ABQ was right on the line, so we had one of the best views in the country.

Yeah, I think we poked a hole in a 3x5 card and looked through that.

You are correct. Reverse image lookup it is fake from http://nethskie.deviantart.com/art/High-Altitude-Eclipse-177573920 .

The part that is fake is the elipse is larger. The sky is from a real image.
