Most of the required reports w/o atc request are self-explanatory or not vague, except for 2; when unable to climb/descend at 500 fpm and change of airspeed 10 kts or 5%, whichever is greater from filed. Maybe i'm thinking too much about it, but when would you actually report it. Is it when the aircraft literally can't climb or descend at 500 fpm bc of performance or an emergency situation of some kind? On the airspeed difference with what's filed, would it be bc of a change of plans at altitude or say like a performance miscalculation. Common sense prevails on the airspeed changes, but just can't think of anymore scenarios. How much of this falls under FAR 91.183(c)? How many controllers have ever had a pilot report it?
