Then why on earth would you pay for a type?
Not a problem and thank you. I just keep applying over and over hoping I will get something soon.
I have been doing survey work all over the usa and right now in canada.
I'm in a sort of similar boat as you, wanting to eventually join the 91 or 91K world, but I have a family and can't just pick up and move across the country for a year just to build some time at a 135 operator. Especially not making $25k a year. Yeah, I know, I picked the wrong career! Let us know how it works out for you.Now I feel dumb I was looking at them and MAC and ACC Picking up the family and moving would be tough for a year gig. Don't get me wrong I will move for any position that would be more long term.
As the economy comes back requirements will relax. You can try personally walking into some corporate flight departments with your resume as you fly around the country with your survey job. Corporate is interesting. Sometimes you just need to be sitting around the airport and you will find a good job. i was offered a King Air 90 contract job just by talking to people in the FBO. Obviously me rolling in in a BE-99 helped but the idea is still there. Not a problem and thank you. I just keep applying over and over hoping I will get something soon.
