FAA Written

Any chance you can call LaserGrade or anybody and see what answer you put down? My student failed his private pilot by one and swears he put the right answer on a few of them. Told him I was pretty sure you can't find out, but I told him I'd ask around.

I'm pretty sure you can't view/ hear about your individual test. If that was the case, the Gleim and every online website would have every question.

You can't see the actual test and the answers they put down, but all the STS items that he/she missed will be on the score print-out.

Im a Laser Grade proctor supervisor. You can not call Lasergrade to get your missed questions. But you can call or write a letter to the FAA to refute your score.

The student also had 10 minutes after his/her test to view the incorrect/correct answers, but they are not allowed to write it down.

No offense to the student intended but that sounds like a defensive reaction from someone who got their hinny handed to them by a PP written. Maybe he/she really needs to admit they were not prepared for a relatively easy test.

If you would have heard him complain about it, you would see all the defense mechanisms in action. They claimed to get a 90/ 94/ and an 88 on three practice tests before, but yeaah I don't think that was completely accurate.

Agreed. I doubt the system randomly changed his answers, if it did then it's possible it also made some wrong answers correct. It could have been a simple case of user error, which again, if it caused a few wrong answers then may also have caused a few correct answers in his favor if it was that prevalent. Result is still the same. Tell him to study harder, take his time and recheck his answers so even if there is an issue, a few wrong answers won't impact if he passes or fails.
