King Air 100?

I heard a rumor that they are getting a King Air 100 for the Chinese students. Has anyone else heard anything about it?

I heard it months ago when they started the program. Great for the resume for some of the senior IPs there. Hopefully they give it to someone deserving.

Flight Safety does training on the C-12 (in the actual plane), I'm sure they will send one of those instructors to teach in a King Air. I doubt for insurance reason that any current MEI at Flight Safety would be able to teach in it.

There are a couple of senior IPs here that have taught in a King Air before. We used to train Chinese many years ago in King Air 90s.

Well any rational person would, but I was having a conversation with the PM a long time ago about it and he wanted the IPs to have the opportunity. I however doubt it as well.

I hear our China group PM is leaving for King Air training in the next two weeks. Would be nice for some of us to get that time but it seems like a very long shot.

I also noticed a Mooney in those pictures was that Flight Safety's as well?

I`m pretty sure they are, in the past FSA (`80s-`90s) use to have contracts with most of the big airlines around the world, they would run programs like the one for Swiss, in the MX Hangar they still have all the signs of the airlines that use to train at FSA.

King Air training is conducted at FlightSafety Atlanta. I saw the first round of Chinese clients there a few weeks ago.
