Starting pay for KII is 50k per the company post. Seems like they fly 727s/737s
(more domestic flights)


Not to be confused with Kalitta air which flies 747s/777s / mostly international flights

K2 and Kair both have posting up on their sites. Is it the same position?

K2 is 121 supplemental flying 737 300, 400 and 800 and 727

They have Cass after youre signed off just like k4

Though as a previous k2 employee myself, I suggest avoiding it like the plague and moving from k2 to k4 is highly unlikely

K4 is a great airline to work for if you can get onboard

Don’t think you could go k2 to k4 ( if it was that easy, everyone would flow thru)

There was someone who did and another who had an interview but didnt get it, which is why I said highly unlikely

I don't understand. If they are "sister companies" operating out of the same building then why would Dx not be able to apply for and get a job at the bigger Kalitta company?

From my understanding there are no formerly K2 people working the line currently in k4. Maybe back in the day, you could have done that. Yeah, @Htown19 got it spot on.
