Position Profile

The Ground Instructor will help develop, implement and maintain curriculum for all
DAEFA ground programs under the direction of the Chief Ground Instructor. They will
report directly to the Chief Ground Instructor.

The package for this position includes: a base salary of $45,000, + living allowance
starting at $18,000 (equals $63,000 tax – free per US Tax Code), company provided
medical coverage for employee, spouse, and family, a $13,624 relocation payment,
annual 30 calendar days paid vacation, annual economy air tickets for employee,
spouse and dependents, and an end-of-service payment per UAE labor law.

Aerospace Enterprise (dubaiaerospace.com), offers an innovative ab-initio flight training
program that focuses on aeronautical decision making and superior technical skills.
DAEFA’s curriculum culminates in a frozen ATPL that will be delivered via the Cirrus
SR22, Eclipse 500 VLJ, AATD’s, FNPT I and II’s and an MCC course conducted in a
737-800 FNPT II/MCC level device. Our academy prides itself in leading the industry

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Designing, implementing and maintaining all DAEFA curricula under the
direction of the Chief Ground Instructor/ Ground Coordinator
- Evaluating and maintaining appropriate levels of cadet materials under the
direction of the Chief Ground Instructor/ Ground Coordinator
- Conducting cadet ground training as required
- Assisting the Chief Ground Instructor/ Ground Coordinator with other tasks as
Assigned

Education and Qualifications

- Applicants should be a Certified Ground Instructor from an ICAO member
country or be approved to conduct Theoretical Knowledge training as approved
by a JAA member state, or equivalent
- BA/BS or equivalent industry experience required
- Three to five-years recent aviation related training delivery experience
- 5 years classroom teaching experience
- 1 years experience developing computer delivered training courseware
- Valid Passport

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

- Essential

o Fluency in written and spoken English
o Outstanding ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
o Ability to interact positively with an international cadet cohort
o Proven ability to use relevant experiences and instructional skills in a
highly challenging, highly structured learning environment
o Proven ability to develop effective courseware
o Ability to deliver a range of subjects from the JAA Theoretical Knowledge
syllabus
o Computer fluency to include at a minimum: Windows, Microsoft Office
Suite and Internet Explorer
o Proven ability to be flexible and to think ‘outside of the box’
o Ability to work on own initiative to achieve identified targets

- Desirable

o Knowledge of, and experience delivering, JAA Technical Knowledge
ground training
o A degree-level teaching qualification
o Knowledge of, and experience with, scenario-based training philosophies
and techniques (i.e. FAA FITS)
o Experience using computer software in training development: Photoshop,
Flash, 3D Max and the like

4. About to finish designing wind tunnel

5. Prepared principle of flight book, now used in ATC syllabus at queen

Posting your resume here does nothing. This is a forum for discussions on aviation, not a job agency.

Try to find Bader and Tag, ex-Royal Jordanian and retired from Emirates a few years ago. I think they returned to Jordan, not sure. Sorry can't remember their last names. Tag was one of Royal Jordanians first female pilots. She ran the Emirates cadet program for many years. Bader was a ground instructor at Emirates. They are a couple. Really nice people, if anyone can help with some introductions in the UAE it would be them.
