CFI Program

I'm going to go get my CFI at ATP and instruct there after high school. (I'll have my CPL in a month, debt free. Might as well get my CFI at ATP where they will hire you) and I have a few questions.

1.) Can you choose your location? Lets say I want to Instruct in Daytona? Can I choose? Or is it based on demand?
2.) I know ATP doesn't "rent out" planes to anyone, but can a CFI take a plane for joy flights?

1) Kinda... They will try and get you as close to your requested as possible. Say you request Daytona, they might send you to Craig or FXE and when a spot opens up you will be sent to Daytona... Longest wait I've seen is about a month, most people get their choice right away or within a week or so.

2) No, every flight must be accounted with for training time. Master on to master off, the plane belongs to the student and you are the passenger/instructor.
